Why Sacramento Drivers Choose Window Tint
With over 250 sunny days and summer temperatures exceeding 100°F, Sacramento is one of the best places in California to benefit from professional window tinting.
Heat Rejection
Our ceramic films reject up to 70% of total solar energy, keeping your cabin significantly cooler even on the hottest Sacramento summer days.
UV Protection
All our films block 99% of harmful UV-A and UV-B rays. The Skin Cancer Foundation recommends window film as an effective form of sun protection.
Glare Reduction
Reduce eye strain and improve driving safety with films that cut glare from the sun, headlights, and reflective surfaces by up to 85%.
Privacy & Security
Darker tints obscure interior visibility, deterring theft and protecting your privacy. Film also helps hold shattered glass together in accidents.

Understanding VLT (Visible Light Transmission)
VLT measures how much light passes through the film. Lower percentages mean darker tint. California law (Vehicle Code Section 26708) requires front side windows to allow at least 70% VLT.
| VLT | Name | Legal For |
|---|---|---|
| 5% | Limo Tint | Rear only |
| 15% | Dark | Rear only |
| 20% | Medium-Dark | Rear only |
| 35% | Medium | Rear only |
| 50% | Light | Rear only |
| 70% | Clear | All windows |

FAQ
Common Questions About Window Tint
What VLT (darkness) levels do you offer?
We offer VLT levels from 5% (limo tint) to 70% (barely visible). California law requires front side windows to allow 70% VLT, while rear windows can be any darkness. Popular choices include 20% for rear windows (good privacy), 35% (balanced look), and 50% (subtle enhancement).
What is the difference between ceramic and carbon tint?
Carbon film uses carbon particles for heat rejection (40% TSER) and has a matte finish. Ceramic film uses nano-ceramic technology for superior heat rejection (60-70% TSER), better optical clarity, and zero signal interference. Ceramic costs more but provides noticeably better performance.
Will window tint interfere with my electronics?
Carbon and ceramic films do not interfere with GPS, cell phone, radio, or keyless entry signals. Only metalized films (which we don't use) can cause interference. Our SunTek and 3M films are specifically designed to be electronics-friendly.
How long will my window tint last?
Professional-grade ceramic and carbon films from SunTek and 3M typically last 15-20 years or more with proper care. Our films are backed by a lifetime warranty against fading, bubbling, peeling, and discoloration for as long as you own the vehicle.
Can you tint my windshield?
Yes, we offer windshield tinting using ceramic film. California allows windshield tint above the AS-1 line (top 4-5 inches) at any darkness, and the remaining windshield must allow 70% VLT. Ceramic film is required for windshields due to its superior optical clarity.
