Wheatland is a small Yuba County farm town on the Bear River, surrounded by rice fields and ranch land about 40 minutes north of our North Sacramento shop. The straightest route is Highway 65 north through the rural Placer and Yuba countryside into town. We are honest that this is a longer destination drive rather than a quick local errand, so most Wheatland drivers book in advance, make one trip down, and let us finish the install the same day.
Around Wheatland the roads are full of work trucks, ag vehicles, and family SUVs, along with military families tied to nearby Beale Air Force Base. For those big cabs and long sun exposure we usually recommend Avery Dennison Encore Supreme ceramic, stepping up to Encore Supreme IR for maximum heat rejection on daily haulers. Carbon film starts at $250 on a full sedan, ceramic from $400, and IR ceramic at $550, with trucks and SUVs priced higher.
Farm country bakes hard through the season, with 100F-plus days and more than 250 sunny days a year heating cabs that sit out in open fields and along Main Street. Ceramic film blocks 99% of UV and rejects up to roughly 70% of solar heat, protecting dashboards and seats and keeping cabs cooler on long ag-country drives and the commute down Highway 65, without the fade or haze that cheaper films develop.
Every Wheatland install uses computer-cut patterns for clean results on work trucks and SUVs, backed by our lifetime no-fault warranty. We keep the front driver and passenger windows at 70% VLT or higher to meet California law, while you choose the darkness on the rear glass.
